The Role

This full-time on-site role in Chennai offers you the opportunity to work as an Paid Articled Assistant at our firm. You will be at the forefront of professional accounting practice, gaining hands-on experience across multiple service areas while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Learn

As an Articled Assistant with us, you will develop expertise in:

Audit & Assurance:Participate in statutory audits, including limited reviews, internal audits, bank audits, and trust audits. You'll learn how to evaluate internal controls, conduct financial testing, and prepare audit reports that meet regulatory standards.

Tax & Compliance: Gain practical experience in income tax filings, GST annual returns, Registrar of Companies (ROC) works, and various compliance frameworks. You'll understand the nuances of tax planning and learn to navigate India's complex regulatory landscape.

Financial Statement Preparation: Develop skills in preparing comprehensive financial statements, notes to accounts, and financial analysis under various accounting frameworks. You'll learn to apply accounting principles effectively and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Client Engagement & Advisory: Learn how to interact with clients, understand their business requirements, conduct financial research, and provide practical advisory solutions. You'll develop communication skills by engaging in client consultations and presenting findings clearly.

Technical Proficiency: Master MS Excel at an advanced level, accounting software platforms, and other tools essential to modern accounting practice. You'll learn to leverage technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in your work.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Statement Preparation, and Tax Compliance
  • Skills in Auditing, Internal Controls Evaluation, and Financial Analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Accounting Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
