Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role located in Chennai. The Articled Assistant will work on various assignments, including assisting in audits (statutory, tax, and other types), preparing and filing tax returns, conducting research on tax and compliance issues, and supporting the team in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. The role will also involve working closely with clients, contributing to risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and compliance standards. Administrative tasks and documentation may also form part of the responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in auditing processes, including tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits
• Knowledge in tax compliance, GST, income tax, and corporate tax laws
• Strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with risk management and internal control procedures
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities
• Currently pursuing or having completed CA Articleship under the Chartered Accountancy program
• Technical proficiency with financial and audit-related software tools
• Previous internship or academic exposure to taxation, auditing, and compliance is a plus
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn in a dynamic work environment
