Job Description

Job Purpose

We're looking for a creative leader who can think big, sweat the details, and inspire a team to deliver standout work. This role is about leading designers to craft high-quality, impactful visuals that align seamlessly with brand objectives, business goals, and creative ambition. You'll oversee the end-to-end design process across platforms while ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence in execution.

What You'll Do

Brand Stewardship

  • Be the guardian of brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all creative outputs
  • Ensure every piece of work aligns with brand values, guidelines, and long-term vision

Creative & Design Strategy

  • Translate business and marketing objectives into strong creative concepts and visual narratives
  • Define design approaches for campaigns, ensuring every asset has a clear purpose and impact

Design Leadership & Execution

  • Proactively create and guide the development of compelling designs across formatsvisual systems, campaign creatives, infographics, logos, and interactive platforms
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers through clear direction, constructive feedback, and hands-on guidance
  • Ensure consistently high-quality output across all deliverables

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with copy, accounts, strategy, and clients to build integrated, effective marketing campaigns
  • Contribute meaningfully to brainstorming, problem-solving, and creative discussions

Quality Control & Production Oversight

  • Review artwork for accuracy, clarity, aesthetics, and brand adherence
  • Oversee pre-production and production stages, including attending shoots, recordings, and key creative reviews

Market Awareness & Innovation

  • Stay plugged into design trends, emerging formats, new tools, and competitor activity
  • Bring fresh thinking, experimentation, and innovation into everyday creative work

Client Engagement

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and pitches as a creative representative
  • Offer strategic creative inputs and confidently articulate design decisions
  • Act as the point of contact for creative escalations and relationship strengthening

Team Growth & Hiring

  • Identify, hire, and build a strong team of independent, reliable creative talent
  • Ensure new hires can interpret briefs clearly and execute with minimal supervision

People & Performance Management

  • Conduct weekly team check-ins to track progress, unblock challenges, and mentor team members
  • Encourage proactive problem-solving and accountability across client and internal work

Time & Operations Management

  • Ensure adherence to internal TATs, task prioritisation, and timely delivery
  • Follow and reinforce documented SOPs and creative processes
