Role Review
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales, distribution, and
partner engagement for extended warranty and screen protection products across the
assigned territory. The role focuses on expanding retail coverage, achieving revenue targets,
and strengthening relationships with distributors, retailers, and service partners.
Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for extended warranty and screen protection products
- Develop and execute area-wise sales plans to drive product penetration
- Increase attach rate at point-of-sale for warranty and protection plans
Channel & Partner Management
- Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, retailers, and dealer networks
- Build strong relationships with mobile stores, electronics retailers, and service centers
- Ensure proper onboarding and training of partners on product features and sales pitch
Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and expand footprint in assigned territory
- Increase brand visibility and product awareness at retail level
- Launch new partners and ensure effective market coverage
Prerequisities
- Strong understanding of extended warranty, protection plans, or insurance-based products
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Experience in B2B / channel sales
- Analytical mindset with ability to track KPIs and sales metrics
- Team leadership and coaching ability
