Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new dealers, sub-dealers, and institutional buyers (FPOs, cooperatives, nurseries, etc.).
- Generate demand at the farmer level through field visits, demo setups, and agri-exhibitions.
- Promote the benefits and ROI of products like shade nets, fencing, etc., using technical knowledge and case studies.
2.Channel Management
- Develop and manage the dealer/distributor network to ensure effective product availability.
- Support partners with pricing strategies, credit policies, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure timely order booking, dispatches, and payment collections.
3. Market Development & Promotion
- Conduct field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and agri-show participation to increase product awareness.
- Liaise with local Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), horticulture departments, and agri-universities for product trials and endorsements.
- Identify market gaps and competitor activities to provide inputs for strategy adjustments.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Provide technical guidance and post-sale support to farmers, dealers, and institutions.
- Address customer complaints and coordinate with technical support teams for resolution.
- Collect and document testimonials, success stories, and feedback from key customers.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis.
- Coordinate with production and logistics for inventory and timely delivery.
- Maintain CRM data and territory sales dashboard.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Agri-Business / Horticulture / Marketing. MBA preferred.
- 8 years of sales experience in agri-inputs, agri-tech, or agri-infrastructure products.
- Prior experience in working with farmer networks, dealers, and government departments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of crop cycles, regional agri practices, and climatic challenges.
