Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager in India.

In this role, you will lead and manage sales operations across West India, driving growth and revenue for electricity distribution products and services. You will develop and execute area sales strategies, oversee client relationships, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The position requires extensive collaboration with internal teams and a strong presence in the field to support Turnkey contractors and electricity distribution companies. You will leverage market insights, competitor analysis, and product expertise to identify opportunities and guide your team toward achieving ambitious sales targets. This role is ideal for a dynamic, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of making data-driven decisions and inspiring high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement effective area sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with electricity distribution companies and Turnkey contractors
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Monitor budgets, prepare sales forecasts, and ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Provide technical guidance and support regarding low and medium voltage electricity distribution products
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 610 years of experience in sales management within the electrical or electricity distribution products industry
  • Strong understanding of electricity distribution systems and related products
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed, strategic decisions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, IFS, SAP, Microsoft Teams, and Office 360
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the West India region
