The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the dealer and distributor network, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned territory. The role involves team handling, market development, and strong relationship management with key stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Appoint, manage, and develop dealers and channel partners
Lead and monitor field sales executives within the territory
Build and maintain relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and project clients
Identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas
Execute sales plans and promotional activities
Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Ensure timely collections and outstanding follow-ups
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
Coordinate with production, dispatch, and installation teams
Qualifications & SkillsGraduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
36 years of experience in field sales (building materials / uPVC / windows & doors preferred)
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Target-driven with good market knowledge
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, and reporting tools
