Role Description

This is a full-time position based out of Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad, for the role of Area Sales Manager - South. The primary responsibilities include identifying and engaging with potential customers, managing relationships with key stakeholders, analyzing market trends, and driving sales in the southern region. The role involves preparing and delivering compelling proposals, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Travel within the southern region for client meetings and exhibitions is required.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Account Management: Experience in business development, managing client relationships, and achieving sales budget.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial equipment, particularly from Bulk Material Handling system.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Proficiency in effectively presenting proposals, engaging stakeholders, and building strong professional relationships.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise: Understanding of rotary and diverter valves, or a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related fields is preferred.
  • Additional Skills: Strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with CRM software are beneficial.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
