Educational Qualification:

Engineering degree in any domain; Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace preferred.

Diploma Holder (Mechanical/ Automotive).

Job Description:

Solize is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition, account

mining, and growth across both Government (Aerospace, Defence, PSUs, R&D labs) and

Commercial (OEMs, Tier-1s, private enterprises) accounts.

This high-impact role requires deep expertise in Hexagon simulation solutions (Nastran,

Simufact, Adams, etc.), proven knowledge of government bidding & tendering, and the

ability to position strategic solutions that expand bid size, penetrate accounts, and deliver

sustained revenue growth.

The candidate should be a self-driven individual contributor with minimal support, capable

of managing both tender-driven government cycles and fast-paced commercial

opportunities, with extensive travel as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

o Identify and acquire new Government and Commercial accounts.

o Prospect and qualify opportunities from RFPs, GEM tenders, defence

programs, OEMs, and Tier-1 suppliers.

Tender & Bidding Management

o Track, evaluate, and respond to tenders, RFPs, GEM bids, and

empanelments.

o Ensure compliance with procurement rules, defence clauses, and

documentation.

o Collaborate with Hexagon presales/product teams to prepare winning

proposals.

o Account Mining, Penetration & Key Account Growth

o Conduct account mining to uncover untapped opportunities within Govt. and

Commercial accounts.

o Drive rigorous account penetration in DRDO, ISRO, HAL, NAL, BHEL, PSUs,

OEMs, and Tier-1 suppliers.

o Develop key accounts strategically into long-term, high-revenue

partnerships.

o Position Hexagon solutions (Nastran, Simufact, Adams, etc.) as strategic

solutions, influencing scope and increasing bid size and revenue share.

Sales Execution & Coordination

o Manage the full sales cycle independently both Govt. (tender-driven) and

Commercial (opportunity-driven).

o Conduct regular meetings, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders.

o Coordinate eectively with Hexagon teams and internal functions (finance,

legal, delivery).

o Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM.

Mandatory Requirements

o 712 years experience in sales/business development across Government and

Commercial accounts.

o Proven expertise in Hexagon simulation software (Nastran, Simufact, Adams, etc.).

o Strong track record in bidding/tendering processes (RFPs, GEM portal, defence

procurement cycles, compliance).

o Demonstrated success in new business acquisition, account mining, penetration,

and revenue growth.

o Established network with Govt. decision-makers and Commercial/OEM

stakeholders.

o Independent performer with minimal supervision; strong follow-up discipline.

o Willingness for extensive travel (70%+) across accounts.

Good to Have

o Exposure to competitor tools (Dassault, Siemens, Ansys).

o Experience with defence indigenization, oset programs, or Make-in-India

initiatives.

o Strong techno-commercial proposal writing and negotiation skills.
