Role Description

The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in managing and driving sales within an assigned territory, with the core responsibility of achieving defined sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying business opportunities, managing client relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing product training to customers. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and keeping abreast of market trends to create impactful plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and account management, with a focus on target achievement.
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry, including surgical and operating room equipment, is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic planning, data analysis, and decision-making abilities to meet business goals.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as required within the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred.
