Job Description

Location: Gujarat,

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Director

Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the overall sales operations within a designated geographic region. This role requires the development of strategies to meet sales goals, build relationships with key clients, and manage a team of sales representatives. The Area Sales Manager will ensure that the sales team operates efficiently, maintains high levels of customer satisfaction, and delivers on revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the assigned region. Monitor and adjust strategies to align with business goals and market trends.

  • Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives. Set clear targets, provide training, and conduct performance reviews to ensure a high-performance culture.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects. Address customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term business partnerships.

  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

Prepare sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

Conduct market research to understand local competition, customer preferences, and emerging trends. Use insights to optimize sales strategies and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Sales Pipeline Management:

Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure a steady flow of new opportunities. Coordinate with the marketing team to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

  • Budgeting & Expense Management:

Manage the sales budget within the region and ensure cost-effective operations. Monitor expenditures and work to maximize ROI on sales initiatives.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, logistics) to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree

  • Experience:

Minimum of 3-5years of experience in sales from Power back up solution Industry including Inverters, UPS, Lithium Batteries, Online ups, Solar products with Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales forecasting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
