Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, located in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, develop and implement sales strategies, build and maintain client relationships, and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing a sales team, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and client relationship management skills, including prospecting, client acquisition, and retention
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth
- Effective leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring and performance monitoring
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for influencing and engaging with clients
- Familiarity with financial markets and investment products such as Equities, Derivatives, Currency, and Mutual Funds
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in sales within the financial services or stockbroking industry is a plus
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
