Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager role based in Bhopal. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the assigned territory, including planning and executing sales strategies to meet revenue and volume targets for diagnostic services. Responsibilities include managing and supporting a field sales team, establishing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, diagnostic partners, and corporate clients, and ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion. The role involves regular market visits, competitor and market analysis, territory mapping, and timely reporting of sales performance and forecasts. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to drive growth, maintain service quality, and strengthen the Pathkind Labs brand in the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in diagnostics, healthcare, pharma, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in territory management, client relationship building, and key account management.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a field sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and reporting, with comfort using CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including market and competitor analysis.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (Bhopal and surrounding areas).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tests, healthcare workflows, and local healthcare ecosystem is highly desirable.
