Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager or Sales Officer located in Patna. The responsibilities of this role include managing and growing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors, and achieving sales targets. The role involves executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Regular reporting on sales performance and assisting in business development initiatives will also be key components of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Business Development skills, with the ability to identify and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Proficiency in Client Relationship Management, Negotiation, and Account Management.
  • Solid understanding of Market Analysis, Competitor Analysis, and Customer Segmentation in the food and spices sector.
  • Effective Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation skills to engage stakeholders and promote products effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, and basic knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
  • Proven experience in the FMCG, food, or organic products industry is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and a results-oriented approach.
