Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai as an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within the designated region. Daily tasks include identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with current clients, providing product demonstrations, and gathering market insights to guide strategic decisions. Additionally, the role involves managing budgets, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in sales management, business development, and client relationship management
  • Proficiency in market research, strategic planning, and negotiation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with a result-oriented mindset
  • Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical sectors is an added advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
