The Area Sales Manager /Engineer Sales will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of capital goods across the assigned territory. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and working closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to ensure alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell cutting machines (CNC Plasma / Laser) in the assigned territory
- Manage and grow the customer base in the region
- Develop new customers and business opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Conduct product seminars, demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Maintain customer data, reports & comparative charts
- Report to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) regularly
- Continuous learning of technical and sales skills
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in sales of capital goods in the assigned region
- Preferable experience in CNC Plasma/Laser Cutting Machines
- Strong understanding of the regional customer base
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi & local language
- Strong negotiation, presentation & relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
