- Develop generate new business in new customers and market verticals as well as existing customers and distributors.
- Work closely with OEM s, Engineering firms, consultants System Integrators to ensure Gems Sensors Setra Systems products are spec d and mentioned in approved supplier lists and that business is maintained and developed.
- Complete all necessary steps from lead generation, opportunity creation, opportunity development maintenance, follow up and closing of the sale.
- Utilize application knowledge to efficiently process customer information, respond to inquiries and address any customer issues in a timely fashion.
- Utilize company CRM database to maintain accurate, updated, and organized information on all assigned customers and company leads.
- Travel or connect to customer locations as required; present company products, services and pricing information in a professional manner.

Required Skills/Experience:
- 5-10 years of sales, engineering, or customer-facing experience in sales.
- Understanding of electro-mechanical industrial products and use in different industrial or medical applications.
- knowledge of customer end products/electrical systems/Instrumentation.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook Exchange.
- Strong business acumen.
- High personal motivation to hunt new customers and drive profitable business growth

- Understanding of and effective use of CRM packages like Salesforce

- Understanding of sensor usage in market verticals like Machines Tools, Medical, Test Measurements, Weather Stations, Chillers, Compressors, Water boosting etc.
- Understanding of International business transactions like material customs clearing, documentations etc.
- Knowledge of industrial or medical instrumentation products.
- Language- Understand fluent in speaking in Hindi, English and local south India languages.
