Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Hyderabad. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations across the designated territory, driving sales growth, enhancing market penetration, and achieving targets. Responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, developing and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and channel partners, devising and implementing sales strategies, and analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities. The role involves ensuring brand visibility, monitoring competitor activities, and leading sales efforts to drive revenue growth while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in channel management and territory management.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Effective team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in the building products industry or related fields is preferred.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using sales management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
