Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Area Sales Manager to build and scale AvyahCorp's Gujarat market from the ground Gujarat. This is a leadership-plus-execution roleideal for someone who understands FMCG food distribution deeply and enjoys creating markets, teams, and systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Distribution Building
  • Build AvyahCorp's presence across Gujarat, starting with Ahmedabad and key cities

  • Appoint, onboard, and manage a strong network of distributors

  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution with consistent market placement

  • Open top outlets, premium stores, and high-potential accounts

  • Sales & Business Growth
    • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets across the region

    • Ensure correct pricing, schemes, and product availability in the market

    • Drive repeat orders and velocity at the outlet level

  • Team Building & Management
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives

    • Set beat plans, targets, and daily execution discipline

    • Coach the team on selling, visibility, and outlet expansion

  • Market Execution & Visibility
    • Ensure effective POSM placement, displays, and shelf presence

    • Plan and execute product sampling with promoters

    • Participate in key trade events, local activations, and exhibitions

  • Inventory, Cash Flow & Operations
    • Manage distributor inventory to ensure optimum stock levels

    • Drive timely collections and healthy cash flow from distributors

    • Ensure credit discipline and minimal outstanding

  • Reporting & Feedback
    • Track sales performance, distributor health, and market coverage

    • Share competitor insights, pricing trends, and retailer feedback

    • Coordinate closely with the leadership team for strategic execution

  • Candidate Profile
    • 510 years of FMCG sales experience (Food / Snacks preferred)

    • Proven experience in distributor appointment and market expansion

    • Strong understanding of the Gujarat market dynamics

    • Experience in building and managing sales teams

    • Result-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable with travel

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and execution skills
