Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Vapi for an Area Sales Manager. While the position requires the candidate to oversee sales operations and business development in the assigned region, some work-from-home flexibility is available. Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating a sales team, achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, nurturing partnerships with distributors, and monitoring market trends to strategize effectively for growth.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development skills, with experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Leadership and Team Management skills to mentor and guide the sales team effectively
  • Market Research and Trend Analysis capabilities for identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors
  • Proficiency in Reporting and Data Analysis for monitoring sales performance and planning strategies
  • Adaptability to work in a hybrid environment and willingness to travel as per business needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Prior experience in the FMCG sector, particularly working with savory products, is advantageous
