Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales and distribution of Springfit Foam products in Ahmedabad and surrounding territories. The role involves managing channel partners, expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and strengthening brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets for foam products.
- Manage and expand the dealer/distributor network across the assigned area.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, architects, interior designers, and project clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Lead, motivate, and guide sales executives and promoters in the territory.
- Conduct regular market visits, dealer meetings, and sales reviews.
- Handle key accounts and institutional/project sales where applicable.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy credit control.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 48 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in foam, mattress, furniture, or consumer durable industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Ahmedabad market and surrounding regions.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage distributors and multi-channel sales networks.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience specifically in foam, mattress, or sleep solution brands will be an added advantage.
- Candidates currently working as Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive / Territory Sales Manager ready for the next role.
