About the Job
We are looking for a high-performing Area Sales Manager to join our General Trade Sales (CCD) team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving area sales performance, channel growth, and sales efficiency. This high-impact position requires strong sales planning, effective distribution management, sharp execution, and people leadership.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Drive sales targets and market share in the assigned territory
- Execute Go-To-Market plans and improve outlet coverage and distribution efficiency
- Manage distributors, retailers, and stockists while enhancing field force capability
- Lead product launches, brand activations, and trade schemes
- Monitor competition, analyse market trends, and provide strategic insights
- Ensure depot coordination, stock hygiene, and timely damage-claim settlements
- Motivate and manage a team of Sales Executives and Market Representatives
What We Are Looking For:
- 5-8 years of FMCG sales (Personal Care Products) experience, including at least 3+ years in an ASM role in General Trade (CCD)
- Proven expertise in executing sales strategies through effective channel and sales management, achieving sales and distribution targets
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management
