Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to promote and sell our range of high-quality hospital ICU and OT (Operation Theatre) products, including Air Mattress, Patient Warmers, Stirrups, Endoscopic Camera System, Air Way Clerence System etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and revenue.

  • Market Research and Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify potential clients such as hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.

  • Product Presentation and Demonstration:
  • Present and demonstrate the functionality and benefits of OT products to clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during product trials and installations.

  • Relationship Building:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, surgeons, and procurement teams.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective after-sales service and support.

  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

  • Training and Development:
  • Stay updated on product features, medical industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven sales experience in medical equipment, hospital equipment is must.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric approach.
  • Basic knowledge of operation theatre setups and equipment is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sales Management, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create effective sales strategies
  • Proficiency in conducting product demonstrations and providing after-sales support
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and medical devices is a plus
  • Prior experience in selling of capital medical equipment to Corporate/Private/Government hospitals in Kolkata/ Bhubaneshwar is a MUST.
  • Prior experience in selling of Critical Care & OT products will be an added advantage.
