ROLE : Account Manager - IC
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- Own endtoend account strategy for assigned Aerospace & Defense customer, including revenue growth, pipeline development, and account planning
- Build and maintain multilevel relationships across client organizations, including business, IT, and program leadership
- Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer missions, program lifecycles, and longterm modernization initiatives
- Act as the primary client interface, ensuring consistent communication, executive alignment, and issue resolution
Business Development & Growth
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new IT services opportunities across digital transformation, cloud, data, cybersecurity, application modernization, and managed services
- Drive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, coordinating solutioning, pricing, and compliance inputs
- Influence client roadmaps by positioning IT services aligned to mission readiness, operational efficiency, and security requirements
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, margin, and growth targets
Client Delivery & Governance
- Partner with delivery leaders to ensure successful execution of programs, SLAs, and contractual commitments
- Own customer satisfaction, including executive reviews, escalations, and renewal discussions
- Ensure services align with A&D regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP, export controls)
- Monitor account performance metrics including revenue, backlog, delivery health, and risk
CrossFunctional Leadership
- Coordinate across internal teams including solution architecture, delivery, security, legal, contracts, and finance
- Work closely with alliance partners and OEMs where applicable to deliver integrated solutions
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence service offerings, investments, and gotomarket strategy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in IT account management, client partner, or strategic sales roles
- Proven experience managing accounts within Aerospace & Defense, government, or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of IT services delivery models, including cloud, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and application services
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multistakeholder enterprise accounts
- Experience with government or defense contracting environments and associated procurement processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with A&D primes, Tier1 suppliers, or government agencies
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, program lifecycles, and contracting vehicles
- Understanding of security and compliance frameworks relevant to A&D (e.g., CMMC, NIST 800171, ITAR)
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in consultative selling and largescale digital transformation programs
