We are seeking a results-driven Area Manager to lead and manage the Agency Channel within Mumbai (Central & Navi Mumbai). This role demands strong leadership, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Drive health insurance sales through agency partners and ensure achievement of assigned targets (premium, persistency, etc.).
- Develop strategies to expand and strengthen the agency channel in the assigned area.
Team Management:
- Handle a team of Unit Managers & Branch Managers.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure team productivity.
Recruitment & Training:
- Recruit qualified team members and develop their capabilities through regular training and mentoring.
Relationship Management:
- Build strong professional relationships with agents and agency partners.
- Provide consistent support and motivation to drive retention and loyalty.
Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure timely reporting, policy issuance, and adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor P&L and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.
Market Intelligence:
- Keep track of competitor activities and market trends to adapt and strategize accordingly.
