Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Legal Manager based in Pune. The Area Legal Manager will oversee legal affairs, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and prepare and verify legal documents. Responsibilities include providing legal consulting services, driving adherence to regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, and addressing any legal issues related to housing finance. This role requires coordination with various internal stakeholders to ensure proper handling of legal aspects relevant to the organization's operations and client services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and Legal Consulting
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including review and verification
- Familiarity with Legal Compliance and regulations related to housing finance
- Strong understanding and management of Legal Affairs, including risk mitigation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple legal cases and ensure adherence to deadlines
- A degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) is required
- Prior experience in the housing finance or financial services industry is an added advantage
