Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee key operational tasks within the PRODUCT function to support senior management in achieving business strategy.
- Monitor and maintain operations turn time, quality standards across processing, underwriting, and closing.
- Ensure quality and production goals are met, redeploying resources as needed.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Investigate, maintain, and improve operating policies and procedures for PRODUCT loans, ensuring adherence to bank and industry standards.
- Review and resolve compliance-related findings for the regional unit.
- Stay updated on changes in the PRODUCT industry and bank policies; suggest improvements to maintain compliance.
Team Management & Development:
- Interview, hire, train, coach, and evaluate regional unit team members for optimal performance.
- Track and assess team performance and identify training opportunities.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Foster collaborative relationships with regional sales and operations units, ensuring clear communication between sales and operations.
- Partner with sales production staff and other internal/external departments to establish loan performance expectations.
- Ensure consistency with main operations center policies while maintaining market-specific practices.
Technology & Efficiency:
- Explore and implement new technology solutions to increase operational efficiency and quality.
- Conduct due diligence for vendor selection and product onboarding.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Review operational scorecards to identify root causes of exceptions and trends.
- Ensure nil critical/repeated audit observations and timely resolution of customer complaints.
