Responsibilities:
Process & Operations Management:
- Support senior management in delivering business strategy for the PRODUCT function.
- Investigate, collaborate on, and maintain operating policies and procedures for PRODUCT loans in line with bank and industry standards.
- Identify process improvements and implement them with a focus on compliance and operational efficacy.
- Monitor and maintain turnaround time and quality standards across processing, underwriting, and closing.
- Ensure consistency with central operations policies while maintaining market-specific practices.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Review and resolve compliance-related findings for the regional unit.
- Serve as first-line subject matter expert for daily loan scenario questions.
- Ensure no critical or repeated audit observations and resolve customer complaints within defined timelines.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and redirect team members for optimal performance.
- Monitor workflow levels, redeploy resources, and assess performance.
- Identify training opportunities and performance development needs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Foster collaborative relationships with regional sales and operations units to optimize communication and workflow.
- Partner with sales production staff and other internal/external departments to establish loan performance expectations.
- Review operational scorecards, detect trends, and implement corrective actions.
Innovation & Technology Adoption:
- Explore new technology options to improve quality and efficiency, including vendor due diligence and product onboarding.
