Area Collections Manager Roles & responsibilities
- Agency Management: Oversee and manage third-party collection agencies to ensure compliance and maximize recovery performance across personal Loans portfolios within the city/state.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze agency performance metrics (e.g., recovery rates, cycle time) and implement corrective actions for underperforming partners. Achieve weekly milestone and monthly targets assigned.
- Field Engagement: Conduct frequent field visits to both collection agencies and customer locations to audit operations and directly resolve complex recovery cases.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all collection activities adhere strictly to the NBFC's policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and guide agency staff and internal team members on effective and compliant recovery strategies and processes.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed weekly and monthly MIS reports on collection status, recovery forecasts, and key challenges to senior management.
