Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Business Manager based in Rajkot. The Area Business Manager will oversee the sales operations within the assigned region, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. The responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, developing strategic plans, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, monitoring market trends, and ensuring effective implementation of promotional activities. Coordination with internal departments and conducting training sessions for the sales team are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Sales Management and Business Development to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.
• Capability to lead and manage a team, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities for planning and implementing regional business strategies.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge in therapeutic segments such as Cardiology, Nephrology or working in any chronic degment.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or MBA is desirable but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within the specified territory as required for managing business operations.
