Job Purpose: Lead - Architecture, Product Design & Interior Design is responsible for leading the architectural, product, and interior design processes for corporate projects, ensuring alignment with the Group's strategic vision. It involves developing innovative, sustainable, and functional design concepts that enhance user experience and placemaking. The position oversees design reviews, issuance of construction drawings, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. It also includes managing project budgets, feasibility studies, and construction coordination to maintain design integrity. Additionally, the role fosters innovation, integrates advanced digital tools, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and excellence in design execution.
Responsibilities
Architectural & Interior Design Development and Oversight:
Lead the architectural, product, and interior design processes for corporate projects, ensuring seamless integration into the Group's broader strategic vison.
Develop innovative design concepts that incorporate sustainability, modern aesthetics, and functional efficiency while enhancing user experience.
Oversee the conceptualization of interior design elements, ensuring alignment with brand identity, functionality, and industry best practices.
Ensure that all designs contribute to placemaking, enhancing the urban fabric and overall environment.
Project Drawing Review And Issuance
Review and approve architectural and interior design plans, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Oversee the preparation and issuance of final drawings for construction (GFC) after rigorous quality checks and reviews.
Ensure that design documentation reflects the project intent and provides clarity for execution teams.
Project & Financial Management
Lead the design management of projects from ideation to execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Oversee resource planning and financial forecasting for architectural, product, and interior design projects.
Ensure value maximization through cost-effective yet high-quality design solutions.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all design work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
Secure necessary permits and approvals, addressing regulatory challenges as they arise.
Identify potential design risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the design lifecycle.
Feasibility Studies & Concept Validation
Conduct feasibility studies for new design projects, evaluating technical specifications, financial implications, and risk factors.
Refine project plans based on study outcomes, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and operational requirements.
Site Inspections & Construction Coordination
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring the integrity of architectural and interior design elements.
Address design challenges, provide clarifications, and support execution teams to maintain consistency with design intent.
Innovation & Industry Awareness
Stay ahead of emerging trends in architecture, product design, and interior spaces, integrating automation, AI, and smart building solutions.
Leverage digital technologies such as BIM and virtual reality to enhance design processes and project visualization.
Foster an environment of continuous innovation by integrating sustainable materials and modern construction methodologies.
Collaboration And Cross-Functional Team Support
Support collaboration between internal teams, contractors, vendors and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
Facilitate coordination between departments to ensure resources are aligned and project tasks are completed on time.
Team Leadership And Development
Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they possess the technical and commercial skills necessary for project execution.
Set clear performance metrics and regularly review team progress to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
Work Experience
12+ years of experience in architectural design, product design, or interior design, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, cost, and timelines.
