Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong experience with System Administration - Linux.
- Working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure), on-premise servers, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, configuration management tools, web servers, and build tools (CI/CD).
- Should have knowledge of web servers and virtual hosting.
- Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, regular system administration tasks, and anything/everything that can be automated.
- Good to have knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to track complex technical issues for running online services.
- Experience in technical leadership in driving engineering roadmaps, leading v-teams, mentoring, and helping others grow technically is a plus.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience running applications and systems in Amazon Cloud or Google Cloud environments.
- Development experience in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) with exposure to using Helm charts.
- Experience in production environment deployment in Kubernetes and setting up autoscaling for Kubernetes.
- Experience in and demonstrated understanding of enterprise service deployment in Kubernetes like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark.
- Experience with Linux is a must. System administration skills are good to have.
- Experience in delivering CI/CD pipelines for microservice-based applications from dev to stage to production.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Linux Architecture.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in technology and information architectures, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
