Job Summary
We are hiring for Mokal Industries a Canada based construction company specialized in Division 10.
As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with vendors, and preparing precise project quotations. This is a full-time, in-office position based on a 40-hour work week. You will report directly to the Estimating Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Analysis: Read and interpret tender drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Take-offs & Spreadsheets: Perform accurate quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive estimate spreadsheets.
- Communication: Call and email contractors, clients, and vendors to gather information and build relationships.
- Documentation: Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs), job folders, and formal quotations using Word and Adobe.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to company filing and organizational requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction education, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction estimating or project management is highly valued. Architectural design experience is also considered an asset.
- Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.

- Compensation: 33,000 - 37,500 RS monthly
