Role Overview
Sthira Architects is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical drafting abilities, excellent accuracy, and a solid understanding of architectural working and approval drawings. Experience with UDCPR (Maharashtra) regulations is essential, along with the ability to collaborate closely with architects and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare approval drawings, detailed working drawings, and construction-ready documentation
- Ensure complete compliance with UDCPR Maharashtra regulations and relevant building by-laws
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants for drawing updates, clarifications, and coordination
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of drawings across all project stages
- Revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site requirements
- Organize, maintain, and update project documentation and drawing sets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in an architectural or design firm
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Experience in preparing working drawings, approval drawings, and detailed construction sets
- Good understanding of UDCPR norms, development control regulations, and building by-laws
- Ability to interpret design sketches and convert them into precise, technically accurate drawings
- Attention to detail with strong communication and coordination skills
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture / Draftsmanship or a related technical field (preferred)
