Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Chennai. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents under the guidance of architects and project leads, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with design intent. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing plans, sections, elevations, and details; updating drawings based on design revisions and coordination meetings; and organizing drawing sets for submissions and approvals. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members, incorporating technical and regulatory requirements, and maintaining documentation in an orderly and accessible format. The Architectural Drafter will also support project planning activities, assist in resolving drawing-related issues during construction, and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting templates and workflows.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, construction drawings, and working drawings based on design concepts.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and project standards.
• Maintain drawing documentation, revisions, and project records.
• Perform site measurements and update drawings based on site conditions when required.
• Support the design and execution teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–10 years of experience in an architectural or civil consultancy/execution firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, and BIM workflows is an added advantage.
