Role Description

The Architectural Drafter will manage the preparation of detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation based on design specifications and requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects to translate concepts into technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes, and working with planning and construction teams on project execution. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai.

Qualifications

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans.

Develop working drawings, construction drawings, and shop drawings.

Coordinate with architects and design teams to understand project requirements.

Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings as per project standards.

Review and revise drawings based on feedback.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings and project files.

4–9 years of experience in an architectural firm.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).

Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of architectural drawings and detailing.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
