Job Description: Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable Salesforce solutions within the financial services domain (Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management). The role requires deep expertise in FSC, enterprise architecture, and end-to-end solution design aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design
• Define end-to-end architecture for Salesforce FSC implementations
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned to enterprise standards
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution blueprints
• Financial Services Cloud Expertise
• Lead implementation of FSC features such as:
• Relationship Management (Households, Financial Accounts)
• Wealth Management & Client Lifecycle
• Omni-channel customer engagement
• Configure FSC data model, automation, and compliance workflows
• Stakeholder & Business Engagement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define transformation roadmap
• Provide thought leadership on digital transformation in financial services
• Conduct workshops and recommend best-fit Salesforce solutions
• Technical Leadership
• Guide development teams on Apex, Lightning, Integration patterns
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, governance, and DevOps
• Perform code/solution reviews and ensure quality benchmarks
• Integration & Data Architecture
• Design integrations with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party platforms (via APIs, MuleSoft, middleware)
• Define data migration, data governance, and master data strategies
• Compliance & Security
• Ensure solutions comply with financial regulations and security standards (KYC, AML, GDPR, etc.)
• Implement role-based access, encryption, and audit mechanisms
• Delivery & Governance
• Lead large-scale implementation programs
• Manage architecture governance, risk, and performance optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience
• 10–15+ years in IT, with 5+ years in Salesforce Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementations
• Experience working with Banking / Insurance / Capital Markets clients
• Salesforce Expertise
• Strong knowledge of:
• FSC Data Model & Industry Framework
• Lightning Experience & LWC
• Apex, Triggers, SOQL
• Salesforce APIs and Integration patterns
• Architecture Skills
• Expertise in enterprise architecture patterns (microservices, API-led connectivity)
• Experience in designing multi-org / multi-cloud Salesforce environments
• Strong understanding of data modeling and governance
• Integration Skills
• Experience with MuleSoft / REST / SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of ETL tools and real-time integrations
• Certifications (Preferred / Required)
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Preferred
• Salesforce Application/System Architect
• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
