Job Description
We are seeking a Java Full Stack Architect (React) with 8–12 years of experience to lead the design, evolution, and governance of enterprise-scale web applications. This role owns the entire software stack, bridging responsive React frontends with highly available, cloud-native Java backends. You will drive legacy system modernization, manage containerized workloads, optimize data/middleware layers, and champion engineering excellence and deep-stack observability.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise & Full-Stack Architecture
End-to-End Design: Drive the architectural vision of scalable applications, combining React frontends with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud microservices.
Microservices Orchestration: Architect resilient microservices using API Gateways and Netflix OSS (Eureka, Ribbon, Zuul) for discovery, load balancing, and routing.
Modernization & Migration: Lead strategic migrations transitioning legacy monolithic systems from JBoss/WebLogic to containerized, cloud-native environments.
Data, Middleware & Containerization
Container Orchestration: Manage the deployment, scaling, and lifecycle of microservices workloads utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Data Strategy: Define data models and optimize performance across SQL and NoSQL data stores leveraging Hibernate and Spring Data.
Traffic Management: Configure and optimize middleware layers, reverse proxies, and web/app servers (Nginx, Apache, JBoss, WebLogic).
Observability & Engineering Excellence
Deep-Stack Observability: Ensure application reliability and performance tuning via proactive monitoring and logging using Splunk and Dynatrace.
DevOps Automation: Establish and govern robust CI/CD workflows utilizing Maven or Gradle.
Technical Governance: Enforce clean code, secure frameworks, and automated testing while conducting formal reviews and mentoring engineering teams.
Technical Requirements
Frontend: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern React architecture.
Backend: 10+ years of deep Java expertise, specializing in the Spring Ecosystem (Boot, Cloud, Security, Data).
Middleware & Cloud-Native: Hands-on experience with Nginx, Apache, JBoss/WebLogic, Docker, and Kubernetes.
API Integration: Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs and managing service discovery/routing.
