Architecture Strategy & Roadmap: Define the target state architecture, transition states, and strategic roadmaps for core payment systems, focusing exclusively on High-Value and Cross-Border payment rails.1

Modernization Leadership: Lead large-scale payment modernization initiatives, including legacy core platform replacements and complex ISO 20022 migrations.1

Executive Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on emerging payment trends, RTGS systems, and decentralized financial messaging.1

Requirement Engineering: Translate intricate cross-border financial workflows, liquidity management rules, and compliance checks into scalable, high-performance technical designs.1

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product vendors, engineering units, and internal business stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of enterprise payment hubs.1

Technical & Functional Core CompetenciesCross-Border Payments: Deep expertise in correspondent banking networks, multi-currency processing, FX management, and SWIFT messaging networks (Fin/MT and MX formats).1

HVP & RTGS Platforms: Proven experience architecting or consulting on High-Value Payment systems and Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) platforms (e.g., Fedwire, CHIPS, CHAPS, TARGET2).1

Standards & Compliance: Mastery of ISO 20022 messaging standards. Thorough understanding of global compliance mandates, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC, Sanctions Screening, and advanced fraud prevention within payment flows.Payment Hubs: Hands-on architectural experience with major market-leading payment engines and hubs (e.g., Finastra, Volante, FIS, ACI Worldwide, or Temenos Payments).1

Integration Architecture: Proficiency in API-driven banking, microservices architecture, cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and real-time data streaming architectures.1

Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience: 12–15+ years in the IT/Consulting industry, with a minimum of 8+ years dedicated to the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Payments domain.1

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
