Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Architect to join our team full-time at our Virar office. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in residential and commercial design, strong conceptual abilities, and a deep understanding of the design development and execution process.
You will be responsible for leading design ideation, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop design ideas for residential and/or commercial projects
- Prepare architectural drawings, presentations, working drawings, and detail sets
- Handle space planning, interior layouts, and functional design development
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
- Ensure designs comply with local building by-laws and UDCPR norms (preferred)
- Oversee site coordination when required to ensure design intent is maintained
- Contribute to design research, sustainability considerations, and innovative solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong design sensibility and aesthetics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- Good understanding of UDCPR guidelines and local approval processes
- Strong project management, detailing, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within timelines
