Role Objective

We are seeking a high-caliber Test Automation Architect to lead the technical design and hands-on implementation of our enterprise testing frameworks. This is not a management-only role; We require a technical authority who remains in the trenches, building modular, scalable frameworks from scratch. The ideal candidate will leverage modern AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining architectural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership: Design and own sophisticated test automation frameworks from the ground up for UI, API, and End-to-End testing.

Hands-on Development: Act as a primary individual contributor, writing high-quality automation code and reusable utilities.

Cloud Integration: Design serverless testing components using AWS, including creating and managing Lambda functions for event-driven test triggers.

AI-Augmented Engineering: Expertly utilize AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini to speed up boilerplate generation, refactor complex logic, and perform deep codebase analysis.

Client Advocacy: Conduct high-impact technical demos to clients, effectively communicating architectural decisions and quality ROI.

Framework Creator: Build enterprise-grade frameworks from scratch, prioritizing maintainability and scalability across web and cloud platforms.

Required Qualifications

10+ Years of Professional Experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation Architecture.

Deep Technical Soundness: Proven track record of staying hands-on with code rather than solely focusing on team leading.

AI Tooling Mastery: Strong command of Cursor for repository-wide reasoning, GitHub Copilot for in-IDE assistance, and Gemini for code explanation and logic optimization.

Dual-Tool Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Playwright and WebDriver IO frameworks.

Core Programming: Mastery of JavaScript (required) with a strong preference for Python.

AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS services, specifically Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.

Strategic Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for high-level client presentations and internal technical documentation.

We are specifically looking for an expert who can pivot from drawing an architectural blueprint to implementing the code that makes it work. Candidates must demonstrate how they use AI tools to increase their individual productivity.
