Job Description

Overview

The Role is responsible for the delivery of high-quality technical solution and delivery for all SAP Upgrades, Migrations across all sectors (AMESA, APAC, NA, Europe, LATAM) including support PGT program. This role will manage multiple complex technical deliveries/projects across SAP application landscapes across multiple geographies and partner with other IT orgs (such as infrastructure, enterprise architecture, ITOPS, etc.) to plan and deliver comprehensive environment for each project. This includes build new SAP severs, installing or upgrading existing SAP instances, migrations and providing all SAP Basis function support. Following global standards and ensuring tight integration with the global delivery team


Responsibilities

  • Individual contributor or leads SAP application upgrade teams or migrations in Sectors based on project and is expert in Hands-on/SME
  • Leads technically and Prioritize team's work and assign daily work tasks with limited supervision
  • Manages a team size of about 2-3 direct reports(Internal/Vendor) if required
  • Provides guidance and expertise to the support teams on design and development performance and architecture decisions
  • Works with other Upgrade leads/Global leads and gets guidance from global teams for standards and direction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or Equivalent
  • 8+ years of hands-on System Admin in SAP.
  • 2+ years in managing teams and/or experience in managing global teams
  • S/4 HANA, PO, TPM, EP, CARAB, Fiori, SAP ABAP and Java stacks, Migrations , S/4 Conversion , Upgrades, Azure Cloud Experience will be preferred
  • Must be able to work as a Lead or also as an Individual Contributor with expertise in Hands-on in Upgrades/Migrations
  • Experience in Databases and various operating systems. Knowhow of Infrastructure including Datacenter operations and Network
  • Expert of Migrations and Upgrades
  • Expert of HA/DR setup
  • Knowledge of integration points between business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Solves highly complex problems within the work team
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP upgrades, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, MS Office products, project implementation and production support experience
