Key Responsibilities & Skill Requirements-
Looking for a freelance/part time GW Architect who can support us on 4 hours daily basis preferrably in 6 PM to 10 PM IST timings !!
Celsior is seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Architect to partner with client technology and business leaders in continuously improving an existing on-premises Guidewire deployment. This role involves leading a team of remote Guidewire developers, providing strategic technical direction, and driving both maintenance and significant development/configuration efforts to meet evolving business requirements.
- Lead and enhance existing Guidewire deployments to align with business needs and objectives.
- Define and establish strategic technology direction; provide mentorship and guidance to development teams.
- Drive ongoing technology transformation initiatives to reduce technical debt.
- Manage full lifecycle Guidewire implementations planning, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
- Must have strong Guidewire knowledge and experience with Policy Center, as well as experience with Billing Center, and Claims Center.
- Must have experience with on-premises Guidewire versions 8 and 9
- Must have Guidewire Development experience, including GOSU scripting and Unit Testing practices
- Must have Guidewire Integration experience with Web Services, Batch Processing, Messaging, and other 3rd party components
- Must have Guidewire Configuration experience including working with Data Models, Rules Engine, Workflows, Validations, Form Patterns, PCF, and Underwriting issues.
- Experience with Guidewire performance tuning and optimization, including using profilers
- Experience with Guidewire Marketplace and Commercial Line of Business (Auto, Umbrella, Business Owners, Workers Comp, CPP, etc.)
Technical Skill Requirements-
- The following technical skills and levels are required:
- Java Intermediate level required
- SQL Intermediate level required
- XML Must have experience, within context of Guidewire maintenance and development
- Web Services (SOAP/REST) - Must have experience, within context of Guidewire integration
- Experience with common development tools including GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High initiative and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and Sprint model.
- Comfortable working as part of a distributed team across multiple time zones.
- Understanding of IT Security best practices.
