The Role:
We're looking for an Architect (Civil) who will lead architectural design and execution across high-impact commercial, retail, and experiential projects. This role requires a strong blend of design leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, scalable, and execution-ready architectural solutions.
You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and clientstranslating concepts into buildable designs while maintaining design intent, quality, timelines, and budgets. Your mission is to ensure design excellence, technical soundness, and successful on-ground execution across projects.
What You'll Own:
1. Architectural Design & Concept Development
- Lead end-to-end architectural design from concept to execution.
- Develop design concepts, layouts, and spatial strategies aligned with client requirements.
- Translate business and functional needs into innovative architectural solutions.
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and concept narratives.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
2. Technical Design & Documentation
- Prepare and review detailed drawings: plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Ensure accuracy and constructability of drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate structural, interior, MEP, and services integration.
- Oversee preparation of BOQs, technical specifications, and tender drawings.
- Maintain high standards of detailing and material selection.
3. Project Coordination & Execution Support
- Act as the primary architectural point of contact for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design adherence.
- Resolve on-site design and technical issues proactively.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Engage with clients to understand vision, constraints, and expectations.
- Present design proposals, revisions, and technical clarifications.
- Manage feedback cycles and align stakeholders on final outputs.
- Build long-term client relationships through quality delivery and trust.
5. Quality Control & Design Governance
- Review drawings and outputs from junior architects and designers.
- Maintain consistency in design language, standards, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to internal design processes and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in design and execution workflows.
6. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor junior architects and design team members.
- Delegate tasks effectively and guide teams through complex challenges.
- Contribute to building scalable architectural and design processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and design excellence.
7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and technologies.
- Introduce sustainable, cost-effective, and innovative design approaches.
- Support value engineering without compromising design intent.
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
1. Must-Haves
- MTech in Structural Engineering and equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Strong experience handling commercial, retail, or large-scale projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and detailing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
2. Highly Desirable
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments.
- Exposure to retail, experiential, or tech-enabled spaces.
- Strong coordination experience with structural, MEP, and execution teams.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and compliance norms.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading small teams.

- Visualization: Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape (preferred)
- Documentation & Collaboration: Google Workspace, Notion
- Project Coordination: Excel, project tracking tools
