August Design Lab

At August Design Lab, we are looking for Architects/Designers who can think with clarity, draw with precision, and translate ideas into built reality. The role demands equal sensitivity towards design, detailing, coordination, and execution.

• Develop architectural concepts, drawings, presentations, and detailed GFCs for projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors
• Prepare coordinated drawing sets, material details, schedules, and design documentation
• Create 3D models, visualisations, and presentation material for client and execution purposes
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Consultants, Vendors, and Agencies during design and execution stages
• Visit sites regularly to verify dimensions, monitor execution quality, and resolve on-site design issues
• Ensure all issued drawings are technically coordinated, execution-ready, and aligned with studio standards
• Prepare CDI schedules, drawing trackers, and support project workflow planning
• Participate in material selection, mock-up development, and detailing discussions
• Work closely with senior team members in refining concepts, details, proportions, and execution systems
• Maintain organised documentation of drawings, revisions, MOMs, and project records

• Strong design sensibility with a detail-oriented and technically aware approach
• Good understanding of materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing
• Ability to think independently while working collaboratively within a studio environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Patience, curiosity, and willingness to learn through drawings, revisions, and site exposure
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or similar tools

Architecture here is learned slowly — through drawings, corrections, site conversations, mock-ups, and continuous refinement.
