Position: ArcGIS Platform Administrator
Brief Function
Administer Databases, ArcGIS enterprise & underlying platform
Responsible for
- Knowledge of Databases like Oracle & open source databases.
- Well versed with Esri's ArcSDE technology for administering Geodatabases.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes with micro services architecture understanding.
- Good understanding of cloud technology like MS Azure.
- Install and Configure Databases, ESRI Platform - ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server- GeoEvent Server/ GeoAnalytics Server/Portal for ArcGIS, Integration of GIS with other systems like SAML, OAuth 2.0, Windows AD
- Publish Web services on ArcGIS Enterprise, manage users on ArcGIS Enterprise
- Build Address Locators, update base map tiles and vector maps
- Good Knowledge of ArcScene and 3D visualisations
- Provide L3 Support for ArcGIS Applications,
- Conduct POCs on new ESRI /GIS Products
- Plan and Strategize for upgrades, Patching and Security policy updates Upgrade ArcGIS Platform from 10.1 to 10.2.2 to 10.6.1 and 10.7.1
- Ensure Infosec compliance for all GIS Applications right from SSL to Application Assessment
- Knowledge of PL/SQL would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of ESRI's Utility Network
Qualification / Skills
Graduate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics &/or Communications, IT / CS etc.
Experience / Knowledge
Total 5-10 years of experience with strong knowledge in the field of GIS
- Knowledge of Geo Spatial Technology (hands on exp. of ESRI technology would be an added advantage)
- Hands-on experience on ArcGIS platform management and Management
