Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aptitude Trainer at FACE Prep, located in Vishakhapatnam. The Aptitude Trainer will deliver high-quality classroom sessions on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability to college students and job aspirants. Responsibilities include designing and updating training content, preparing practice questions and tests, and using data from assessments to improve learning outcomes. The trainer will mentor learners individually and in groups, clarify doubts, and provide feedback on performance and exam strategy. The role also involves collaborating with academic and placement teams to align training with recruitment patterns, participating in workshops or bootcamps, and supporting both in-house and client campus training engagements.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of quantitative aptitude topics (arithmetic, algebra, number systems, data interpretation, puzzles, and related areas).
  • Proficiency in logical reasoning and analytical thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems into simple, teachable steps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with clear, structured classroom delivery and engaging presentation style.
  • Experience in test preparation, campus recruitment training, or coaching for competitive exams (e.g., aptitude-based hiring tests) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to design and improve learning materials, practice sets, and mock tests based on student performance and recruiter requirements.
  • Comfort using digital tools for content creation, assessments, and tracking learner progress; familiarity with basic MS Office or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching, patience with learners at different proficiency levels, and readiness to handle dynamic classroom environments.
  • Willingness to travel locally or to partner campuses when needed and to work flexible hours during peak training seasons.
