About The Role
Apptware Solutions LLP is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on skills in Manual Testing, Cypress, and Playwright. This role requires someone who can contribute to building robust automation frameworks, ensure high-quality product delivery, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Only candidates with solid experience in Manual Testing, Cypress, and Playwright will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress and Playwright
- Perform end-to-end manual and automation testing for web-based applications
- Analyze functional & non-functional requirements and identify automation scope
- Build high-quality, reusable, maintainable automation scripts
- Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and detailed test result reports
- Work closely with developers and product owners to prioritize and resolve defects
- Participate in test estimation, planning, and QA strategy discussions
- Lead and mentor junior testers when required
- Manage the full defect life cycle and participate in triage meetings
- Continuously enhance automation capabilities and optimize test execution
- Maintain coding standards and best practices within the QA team
Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of QA experience (Manual + Automation)
- Strong real-time experience with Cypress (must-have)
- Strong real-time experience with Playwright (must-have)
- Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, SDLC & STLC
- Experience with regression suite automation and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test management tools
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Good To Have
- API automation experience
- Experience in performance or security testing
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environment
