We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Treasury Apprentice to support our Finance & Treasury team. This role offers hands-on exposure to corporate treasury operations, cash flow management, banking operations, and financial reporting within a high-growth global organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance and treasury management.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash & Liquidity Management
- Assist in daily cash position tracking and reporting
- Support short-term cash flow forecasting
- Monitor bank balances across domestic and international accounts
Banking & Transactions
- Coordinate with banks for account management, documentation, and compliance
- Assist in payment processing (vendor payments, payroll support, intercompany transfers) Support bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare treasury dashboards and MIS reports
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to treasury
- Support audit documentation and compliance requirements
- Maintain treasury-related records and documentation
Process & Controls
- Help streamline treasury processes and improve operational efficiency
- Support implementation and documentation of internal controls
- Work with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Accounting, FP&A)
What You Need
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite)
- Understanding of treasury concepts (cash pooling, forex, working capital)
- Familiarity with banking operations
