Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations & Maintenance
- Manage electromechanical and utilities services with the technician team.
- Implement and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks or defects.
- Review and guide the work of subordinate staff.
- Maintain asset records, defect trackers, AMC/CAMC documentation, and history cards.
Team Management & Development
- Hire, train, and develop shift engineers, supervisors, and maintenance staff.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
- Foster team participation in events, CSR activities, and evacuation drills.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee vendor quotations, invoices, and service agreements.
- Conduct monthly vendor meetings and track corrective actions.
- Plan and implement energy conservation measures.
- Formulate budgeting controls and monitor expenditure against budgets.
Safety, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure work permits and safe work practices are in place.
- Support risk assessments, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
- Maintain reports such as DMR (Daily Maintenance Report) and MMR (Monthly Maintenance Report).
- Facilitate services under the slogan No Safety, No Work.
